In response to escalating global security challenges and in alignment with HSE standards, the company urgently needed a digital platform to strengthen social security management abroad. Leveraging the Overseas Personnel Security Management System, CNPCI can now rapidly gather security intelligence, track personnel in real time, and respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety of its employees and minimiz-ing risk to both people and assets.

In 2018, CNPC International selected Kingdee Cloud Cosmic as the technological foundationto its overseas social security information platform.Built on a cloud-native, distributed architecture, the platform enables 24/7 high-availability services, ensuring real-time personnel safety monitoring, emergency alerts, and rapid rescue communication through location, image, audio, and video data.

Unlike traditional ERP systems, Kingdee Cloud Cosmic adopts a fully distributed, microservices-based architecture with built-in elasticity and fault tolerance, moving away from the single-database, single-application-server model. This design supports high concurrency and guarantees service stability and resiliency under mission-critical scenarios, delivering greater operational reliability.

With no off-the-shelf solution available, all applications need to be custom-developed. With nearly 20 years of development platform experience, Kingdee Cloud Cosmic uses core technologies like the dynamic domain model to create a cloud-based application service platform. It provides support services and management tools for the development, deployment, operation, and maintenance of application services (SaaS services). It is flexible enough to support personalized business implementation. The platform’s visual configuration, no-code deployment, and one-click delivery significantly boost development efficiency, and its open architecture allows easy integration with third-party map services to enable custom, map-related applications.

Based on the low-code visual development platform of Kingdee Cloud Cosmic, CNPC International rapidly customized and deployed an HSE system tailored to its overseas operations. Built on a cloud-native architecture, the platform supports distributed deployment and elastic scaling to maximize system availability.

The HSE system enables real-time safety monitoring of overseas personnel. In emergencies, employees can trigger SOS alerts with critical rescue data, such as location, images, or audio/video. It proactively detects abnormal conditions, sends real-time warnings, and delivers travel risk alerts in advance—enhancing preventive safety measures. It also strengthens security information management and incident tracking to provide comprehensive protection for employees abroad.
